The Joy Effect
The world thinks you have your sh*t together. The truth is you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, irritable, and scared.
At night, you try to fall asleep, but your mind won’t stop racing about all the what-ifs.
"Do you worry about what friends would think if they knew what your life was truly like?"
You don’t want to be mean, so you end up saying yes to more than you have time (or energy) for because you feel mean saying “no,” especially if you don’t have a good excuse.
You’re here because if you try to keep all the plates spinning at this rate, something is going to have to give, and you’re worried that something will be you.
My job is to help you feel less anxious about all the what-ifs and more connected, present, and able to actually enjoy the successful life you’ve work so hard to create for yourself.
About Carolyn Robistow
You know that feeling you get when you're facing the pressure to look as though you have it all figured out (and you're not supposed to have to try too hard to get there), except really you don't have it all figured out, and you feel like you're the only person faking it? I'm here to help you find relief from that pressure so you can spend less time stuck in a competition and more time connecting meaningfully with the people who matter to you.
