FAQ

ANSWERS TO HELP YOU KNOW IF WE ARE RIGHT FOR YOU

How much does therapy cost?

Our therapists each have their own rate and policies for payment. You can read more about each counselor’s session fees by visiting his or her “about” page.

Carolyn Robistow, M.Ed., LPC – $150-$165

Carla Litzsey, M.S., LPC-Intern – $110

Do you take my insurance?

We are all private pay providers.  You can read more information about seeking possible reimbursement from your insurance on our Investment Page.

How often do I need to attend therapy?

We usually recommend starting sessions weekly if you are able, then scaling back the frequency once you start reaching your therapy goals.

You and your counselor will work together to determine the best plan for your sessions.

We also understand that cost can influence the frequency of your sessions.  If this is the case for you, ask your therapist if s/he feels comfortable with beginning at a lesser frequency based on your current symptoms or concerns.

Where is your office located?

We are located in the Grogran’s Ridge office complex.

2219 Sawdust Rd., Ste. 1303

The Woodlands, TX 77380

Do you offer online therapy sessions?

Yes, we offer online therapy for residents of Texas.

Some client prefer to attend counseling 100% online. Others like to know that online therapy is an option for days they can’t make it into the office.

You can read more about online counseling here.

Do you offer childcare while I'm in session?

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer childcare, and children under the age of 18 must have an adult with them in the lobby at all times.

If childcare is a barrier for you receiving services, we recommend online therapy sessions (also known as telemental health).

What are my options if I have difficulty paying the session fees?

You have multiple options for reducing your out-of-pocket cost for therapy.

Consider working with a counselor who offers sessions at a reduced rate:

Carla Litzsey | Erika Bribiesca

Read about using your out-of-network insurance benefits here.

Explore using pre-tax dollars by paying for sessions using a Health Savings Account or Flex Spending Account through your employer.

Speak with your tax professional to see if you qualify to include out-of-pocket therapy costs in your annual medical deductions.

How do I get started?

Once you’ve chosen the therapist you want to work with, reach out to him or her via his/her “about” page to schedule a phone consultation.
